- If there is a logical solution to a problem, he will find it.
- If it can be built out of Legos, he can build it.
- If you are playing a game requiring math abilities, he will beat you. Badly. Especially if it involves angles (angry birds anyone?)
- If you are a stranger, he will not say hello. He has an incredible sense of Stranger Danger.
- If he gives you attention or lets you into his "circle", you will feel like you won the lottery. That child only gives himself to a select few. He's like a cat. ;-)
- If his brother needs help, he will give it without question.
- If he has a new toy, he will share right away.
- If it is a book, you will have to bribe him to read it. Unless it is a comic or the How to Train Your Dragon series.
- If he lets you see him cry, his heart is truly broken.
- If he is winning at a competitive game, there will be trash talking. (ah, my boy! sorry - it is all in good fun...not everything we teach our children is good.)
- If he can get away with being carried, he will totally take advantage of it.
- If he is negotiating with Steve, he is leaving with the whatever he came for. ;-)
- If he has been naughty, time out will do exceedingly, excessively well as discipline. A firm word is usually enough to break that little heart.
- If he is worried, we may never know about it. That is one private little boy.
- If my heart needs a lift, he is always available for hugs, kisses, and a nibble on those cute, dimpled cheeks!
